Our Story
Stacy's has been a beloved staple in Edwardsburg, MI, since it first opened its doors in April 1997. Owned and operated by Stacy and Kevin Fisher, this local gem has always been a family affair.
From the beginning, you'll find not just Stacy and Kevin behind the scenes, but also their kids and extended family, all contributing to the warm and welcoming atmosphere that defines Stacy's.
But the story of Stacy's goes back much further. Stacy's great-grandparents once ran the DeShone Hotel and a speakeasy in Elkhart during the Prohibition era, a testament to the family's long-standing passion for hospitality.
When the post office acquired that property, they opened Heinnies, which has remained a local favorite. It was at Heinnies that Stacy and Kevin first met—he was a bartender, and she was a cook. Funny enough, these roles have since reversed, but their dedication to great food and a welcoming environment has only grown.
After getting married, Stacy and Kevin went into business with Stacy's parents, eventually buying them out a few months later. There have been many adventures along the way, from driving separately to work not long after they started to countless family members—both immediate and extended—putting in their time at the restaurant.
At Stacy's, every dish is prepared with care, from our famously stuffed salads to Kevin's hand-cut, sizzling steaks, which he takes great pride in preparing. Our restaurant is the perfect place for a relaxed meal after a day on Eagle Lake or a scenic drive through Michiana, offering the ideal setting for anything from a lively party to a quiet dinner.
We owe our success not just to the Fisher family but also to our dedicated staff and the DeShones—Maxi, my sister, who has worked at all the family restaurants, along with Harry, Janet, Bill, and Troy—and the many friends and supporters who have been part of our journey.
Stacy's is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where history, family, and great food come together to create something truly special
Testimonials
Debi Sorokin
“First time at Stacy's, why did we wait so long. We had sirloin for 2. Salad, baked potatoes were outstandingly delicious. Sirloin was cooked perfectly, tender and delicious. Steak was so big it could have fed 4 people. My new favorite restaurant.”
Susan Vosmik
“Our family and friends are frequent "fliers" at Stacy's. The Prime Rib is wonderful. They have specials, such as Ribs one night a week. The staff is always polite and knowledgeable.
It isn't on a main road, but well worth finding.
The way that the restaurant is set up makes dining a very individual experience because they have walls separating each table. The downstairs dining has tables and a bar.
If you aren't there early, you will probably have a wait, but it is worth it!”

“Hands down the best steak in the area. We got the Saturday special which is a 32oz sirloin for two. It's a crazy good deal and the huge piece of steak was so tender and moist and cooked perfectly. Oh and not to mention the side salad was massive and the sauteed button mushrooms were next level..”

“Very nice atmosphere. We had steak and fried chicken and the meal was delicious. Our waitress was super sweet. She let me use her sweater during the meal since I forgot mine. Recommend highly.”
